      Very disappointing to see the airport response to the snowfall on Saturday, Jan 28, 2023. The accumulation was less then 2 inches and the airport did not bother to clear the hangar areas. Subsequently, with the very cold temperatures, it all turned to ice. On the morning of Jan 30, it was not possible to get my airplane out of the hangar due to the slippery conditions. Fortunately I had a length of rope in my 4Runner. I was able to pull the airplane out far enough to clear the hangar door and depart without losing too much time.

        Yikes! I’ll bet taxiing was interesting! Nice MacGyver solution to getting your plane out, but you definitely shouldn’t have had to do that.
